OK, how's this for a read on this:

The Mummy CAN lose Wind and/or wounds as the result of a sacrifice it makes
to power a spell or take an evil sacrificial dagger relic from a pool of
lava.

Likewise, the mummy is vulnerable to spells that indirectly affect it
(attempting to telekinetically rip out that heart) OR effects something
other than Wind or Wounds (e.g. "Cold Snap" from Hexarcana).  It isn't
immune to all magic -- just those that directly cause it damage intending
to...er, damage it.  Likewise, a Voodooist in league with such a creature
could heal it.

Just my $.02 on this question.
