Re: [DL] Striking Doomtown
Well - for me - it has to do with the unimportance of player characters in
a CCG driven plot line. While the Doomtown story was active, there was no
role for independent usage in the plotline. Every character - even the
minor ones - had to be preserved.
Now that Doomtown is no longer active, PC's can now go to town (as it
were). Pimp slap the Ghost, burn down the Whateley manor, whatever they
want because it all won't be contradicted by the next card expansion.

The morning meal was served in traditional socialist fashion - very slowly,
with the courses out of order so that the jelly arrived half an hour after
the toast and the coffee didn't come until we'd called for the check.
However, it was hard to be angry at a place that had ice cream, beer, and
cigarettes on its breakfast menu.
