I'd been thinking of getting the CCs for a while. Now that it
looks like they're out of print, I got set 1. I'm reasonably
happy with them. There are 2 or 4 figs for each major PC
archetype in the game. Sets of 4 or 8 for various groups of NPCs
(Pinkertons, Rangers, Bandits). There are some loose critters.
The figs had their types printed on a visible face "Huckster #1".
This is a bit irritating when you want to use the Pinkerton figs
as Pinkertons, but the players don't know that the bad guys are
Pinkertons. Ah well.
Mixing paper and minis is a good idea if the "good guys" are all
metal. Makes it easier to identify the sides in fight.
All in all I'm pretty happy with the first set. No dups,
reasonably wide range of figures. If you're doing combat with
figs, the Cardstock Cowboys set 1 is worth it. I don't have the
other sets to judge.
