Well I for one think you are right on this one.  As far as I can 
remember the revised Players guide provides different information on 
the City of Lost Angels than it did in the original rules.  Also (as 
Allan has stated on another thread ;-) ) the map in the book has 
been updated to reflect an incident in 1877 which put the town on the 
map!

I've ended up keeping the Players guide from my players as it reveals 
too much!

Also ToT:77 gives information on the towns additional to that in 
either the revised or original rules.  It also provides bucket loads 
of information on how the war is going all along the battle lines, 
which is useful if you are wanting to incorporate this into your 
game - which is detailed as the Novemeber offensives (1876)
