That is funny, considering I have several Priests, ministers, pastors, and
other various religious figures as gamer friends. : ) Course, the majority
of my friends (in general, not just gamers) are Pagan. Go figure.
anywho, I agree with the statements that they are hard to get into. Tolkien
seems to had a thing for slower than dirt starts. then again, I thought the
same about Robert Jordan (who unfortunately ended just as slow, IMHO).
Now then, back to deadlands. There was talk for a while about doing a D20
Version. Did that get shot down? or is it still a maybe? I'd like it just
for conversion usages. I think Elven Gunslingers in Deadlands would be
cool, and Dwarven Junkers In HOE is just a frightening thought. (mind you,
i'm still going to use the Pennical system, not d20, but it'd be a nice
middle step)
