Most of the recent book have been tight for space. I know this because they
are always cutting something and then posting some explaination or other on
the website or here or something.
I think the first instance of this was because the adventures in HOE were
not that good. They were basicly run around for a while then fight big
harrowed version of whatever the book was about. Some of the deadlands ones
were quite good but they couldn't be expected to keep up that kind of
quality and still put out a good sourcebook.
The extra 15 pages that the adventure took up for my money are better spent
on skills, powers, spells, and archtypes. I just wish they would up the
page count to 200 and make it even. 168 is an odd number.
