[DL] armor
This issue came up in last nights gaming session. The rules for armor state
that for each level of armor decreases the die type. So effectivly level
two armor, like three inches of wood, is indestructable with normal weapons.
This is all fine and good in theory but after a particular three inch
peice of wood is shot numerous times in nearly the same spot it will start
to break up. This is the same for any type of armor with enough stress,
like a canonball.
The ruling I made was that each armor type rolled that number of dice as the
amount of damage absorbed. For example level two armor defends at a d6,
Dakota Jimmy shoots his peacemaker and does 12 points of damage, the wall
absorbes 9 points so no wound levels are received by the nun behind the
wall.
