Re: [DL] Twentieth Century ABs
Toxic Shamans came about before Judgment Day in the Coyote Confederation.
The reason Templars and Doomsayers aren't around isn't merely the lack
of supernatural radiation or no Saints being dead, but that their
foundings hadn't occurred. There was, in fact, supernatural radiation,
as a few muties were produced in the Coyote lands prior to the bombs
falling.
So, the list should read:
-Hucksters: fine, but not too many (that occult knowledge isn't easy to
come by), and have many less effective copies of Hoyle's added to the
chart, since there've been a lot of new editions.
-Blessed: sure, but Sinnin's a lot easier to come by
-Shamans: in the Sioux lands, but the Old Ways vow would pretty much keep
them there. No kitchen mystic, occult bookstore-ownin' New Age freak is
even able to hol to the Old Ways oath
-Mad Scientists: they're around until 2063
-Sykers: they can be there, but weaken their powers, since the syker
research ahdn't progressed as much as it had by the Last War (also, take
out all those Strain-gainin' edges)
-Witches: they've been around since the '60s. And the Devilin's probably
are, too
-Toxic Shamans: there aren't many, but there are a few. The plus side is
that they can interact with modern society.
- Metal Mages: quite a few mad scientists had been learning hucksin' and
vice versa; this is where junkers eventually come from.
