When I started playing Deadlands(I'm
still a new player) my character was hired to back the then leader of our group,
Joe Slade. After several events we were left without a leader & had
quite a few party squabbles. I decided enough was enough & bought the
leadership skill just to calm the party down. Now I know that isn't
exactly what it's used for but the Marshal has let me use it for more than just
its normal function. So far I haven't used it to much but with the
adventure we're on now I think it will be coming in handy.

Subject: [DL] Another one
Leadership:
While two of my posse members have it
(although neither are just bursting with Mien), they never use it. I
don't know if it's player co-ordination issues, but they are definitely a
trio of individuals (plus NPC) when it comes to situations where it might
be helpful. They've never used it to trade cards, OR to help negate
surprise.
Do any of you/your players suffer from this as well, or are
my group aberrations? Or is Leadership a surprisingly underrated or
at least underused Aptitude?
