Well, just to be difficult, something occured to me. In some respect
you're getting most of the benefits of the goliath package (10/- armor, +5
to HtH damage) and none of the penalties (not ugly, not obvious, not
slow). The only things you lose are the wound levels/resistance (from
strength) and the actual ability to lift things (from strength). Given
that, would it be a balance issue that the Cactus has 10/- armor all the
time? Maybe he should only have it when the spikes are out? It holds from
a realism stand-point (the spikes give him the armor).
