Re[2]: [BNW] Still out there?
Hello Folks!
I am glad there are some people very much alive out there ;-).

me, too. i was counting on at least the covenant and evil unlimited
coming out - i am quite interested in what Matt Forbeck has in mind
with the game (seems to be influenced quite a bit by the deadlands
series). Yesterday i picked up Crescent City (to notch up the sales
;-)), but i was a bit disappointed, as i have created my own environs
- Caiman City, Florida.
Did it ever occur to anybody, that BNW might be the perfect base for a
Buffy Role-Playing Game ;-) ? Herself some enhanced Bouncer (or even
an Alpha?), Giles some Bargainer, Willow the Hacker (or combination
Hacker/Bargainer), Cordelia the Charmer, Oz the obvious Werecreature
and lastly Xander - well, ist there a Looser Power Package? Combine
Demon Magnet with a knack of being in the wrong place at the wrong
time. Always. <evil chuckle>

I'll be trying to host a demo here and see who picks it up well. If
it turns out there are fun characters popping up, i might make a
campaign of it.

Well... i already linked it, your permission subsumed. As a multimedia
"boutique" we did a showcase for a content management system, and it
turned out we had most fun doing one for games. And in the RPG-section
i wrote some stuff about BNW and linked to a few pages (all in german
though).
Your contract got special mentions. Its a form i wouldn't like (i am
opposed to overregulating), but the content is very much valid. Its
certainly helpful.
