Hmmm, my players didn't have any trouble printing direct to their printer. 
They couldn't _save_ a character image per se - for that, you would need to 
do the Alt+PrintScreen and then probably edit the image in a photo-type 
program to cut out the extraneous material.

Also, if you have Acrobat Exchange, you can generate a PDF.
