I play a lot of WWII wargames (both borad and mini) and well you really
don't need to know history that well to play an RPG in the 40's war zone. So
much was going on at the time, I mean look at Raiders of the Lost Ark, it
was dealing with the war era and yet you could have it take place nearly
anywhere and still be good. If you are worried that your players will call
foul, then avoid the well known stuff and make up little stuff.
