Another movie to catch is "The Specials," which I believe premieres this
Friday (9/22) in some markets. It's basically "Mystery Men" if they had real
super powers, filmed in a documentary style as the group breaks up. Most of
the characters judging from the website are roughly delta-level (Mr. Smart!
Minute (Minute) Man! The Strobe! The Weevil!). Of course, they're billed as
"America's Seventh Best Super-Hero Group".
On the other hand, a group that fights villains like the Anal Slug and
Eurofag can't be all bad... ;)
