BNW Main Rulebook, p82. You can use any General (non-Package-specific)
Trick that you do not have if you get 3 extra successes on the roll.

This reads to me like you're giving out far more Delta Points than I ever do
but that you require your players to spend them permanently. This would
never fly in my game - - unless they were getting a new Power Package, my
players would never spend a Delta Point permanently. Never. (I asked.) I
give out one-use bonus Delta Points occasionally but usually stick with an
XP bonus. The XP bonus also lets them aquire their new Tricks faster. Have
you ever thought of giving a Trick as an 'End-Of-Story-Arc' bonus? I
wouldn't do it every time, but I've done it twice.

We've found that the characters reach a point where they run out of Tricks
they want or can use, espescially if they're not the heavy combatants.
We've also found high skill levels are more useful than more Tricks to
choose from.

Give XP instead. This way it turns directly into Skills.
