[BNW] Line of sight question

There are a variety of powers that have a range of "sight," such as the 
snuffing power of the Snuffer and the TK of the Telekinetic.

How are people out there handling this?  I mean, I can "see" a human figure 
at 1000 feet easily (unless they are trying to hide of course) but I can't 
see details, etc. nor could I identify them ... but I can see 'em.  If I have 
a telescoping sight, I can "see" individuals who are way out of my eye's 
range of seeing.  I realize this last one is a bit ridiculous as far as 
meeting the "sight" range requirements in good faith, but how is everyone 
handling this?

What exactly is everyone's interpretation of what the rules mean by "sight?"
