Sure it is powerful, but he can be killed. Poison, Radiation, Diesease. Also
he makes for a interesting captive as you can put him in somesort of
explosive resitant container and make it water filled, lava filled, a vacuum
all sorts of things that would kill others and it imobilizes the bomber (as
long as the "container" can stand up to the repeated explosions.

Here's one, knock the bomber out, put him/her in a metal box drop it into
the ocean somewhere deep. When the air runs out if the explode then he now
you get to spend your life drowning. :) 

Also the bomber makes a great villian (just be careful not to be in a place
where the heros can just keep exploding you).

One other thing you all overlooked (well the ones who posted) the Snuffer
can kill a bomber. :)
