But Nite Owl also seems to be highly learned in several other fields
(Computers, Academia/Ornithology, etc.). He deciphers and infiltrates
_Ozymandias'_ computer system, and is a highly skilled detective, which
makes him sound fairly Smart...

He also seems to have several Gadgets (Owlship, exoskeleton, Owlmobile),
rather than just one, which would make him an Alpha Gadgeteer (presumably).
Granted, he may just have used 1-3 in any 24 hour period. I would
definitely rate the Owlship alone as far beyond what a Delta Gadgeteer could
make. By the time you factor in the Flight, and the Armor, and the
air-to-air missiles, and the shriekers, and the hover capacity, and the
passenger space, and the flame-throwers... :)

Rorschach, to the best of my knowledge, displays no regenerative
fast-healing type abilities. Kovacs still had bruises and stuff some time
after his capture and beating. The only thing that even hints at it is
declining a parka in issue #10, and I'd tend to dismiss that as a cosmetic
effect more than an actual immunity.

The prototype Scrapper is the X-Men's Wolverine, IMO, as far as healing and
fighting - Rorschach is nowhere even close to him, IMO. Granted, Wolverine
could probably be classed as an alpha-class Scrapper.

If anything, I'd probably rate Rorschach as a Delta (if I had to) with some
kind of "fear/intimidation" aura, and assume everything else comes from
that. When it doesn't work (i.e., against Ozymandias), he's toast. You
look at his fight scenes, and you'll see that most of his opponents are
awfully nervous... ;)

Unfortunately, the "no delta points" thing makes a Reg hero pretty much
unviable. You can do it, but a Batman- or Punisher-type character without
Delta Points jus doen't seem to live long.

The system I am working on allows for "Reg Points", which are a bit more
limited but at least don't cut off such a character entirely. Since they
are Regs that have decided to go up against Deltas, they get a few more
Attribute and resulting Skill points, albeit with limitations.
