         I would have to disagree on the points you're raising here. I run a
relatively low combat game. Combat can be fun, but it's long, and I'm into
heavy role-playing. The point w/ the Goliath, is that out of combat, their
not much. It's not like you can go around bench pressing trucks or
something. Everything about the Goliath draws unwanted attention. In a
combat situation, he's the one that people would hit first and hardest in my
opinion. He's big, he's obvious and he's got good armoring as a rule. It
balances out in thought out tactic based combat. Most combat situations are
team based and at least in the case of primers, they will have tactics and
contingency plans for all situations and many cases, will operate with
greater precision than most law enforcement and military agencies today.
It's just how you plan your game. As a GM,you simply must create more
opportunities for the other individuals to take advantage of their
abilities. And really, that is w/ any game. Naturally, if your game is
combat driven, then the Goliath's, Scrappers,and Toughs will see a lot of
action. Many of the other packs will seem less useful.
