Y'know, this is one of the things I'm trying to train my players *not* to
do. A fistfight is a fistfight, but guns is a whole new ball game. Most
RPG gamers don't really consider the magnitude of the act of drawing a gun
in a fist fight. It elevates things to a potentially *lethal* level.
Granted, many of the Deltas in BNW are at the level in a fistfight (Goliath
for example). That's not a step most real-life people are willing to take.
So next time I run, I'm going to have my players in a Hillybilly bar when a
fight breaks out. Four or five players in a crowded bar brawl. It won't
be the players versus the patrons, it'll be every man for himself. But the
second a player pulls a gun (and I have a feeling I know who it'll be),
everybody in the place will pull their own.
And point them right at the offending player.
