[BNW] New power package Tempusts
No, this is not a weather control power package.
This power package allows you to manipulate time to a limited degree. Let me
know what you think.
Read time:
This power allows you to get a general feel for what will happen in the next
few minutes This is not as detailed as "seeing the future" it is more along
the lines of knowing what will most likely happen.
In game terms you may spend an action to read the next round of combat. This
requires a perception check against a target number of 10. If you succeed
you gain +1 to all attack and dodge rolls during the up coming round. For
every raise you get you receive an additional +1.
This power can also be used to look in to the past.
This also requires a perception roll against a target number of 10. If you
succeed your Guide gives you a brief sketch of events, this is not very
detailed but it is a good way to find clues. For each raise you may fine
tune the description by asking one question of the guide.
Time Manipulation
You may use this power to either speed up yourself or someone else or to slow
them down. You do this by making a spirit roll against the targets spiret+5.
For every success you get you may add or subtract one action from that
individual. (I am considering using a temporal manipulation skill for this)
( i am also considering lowering the target number for willing tagets to
thier spiret. But i think the body would naturaly resist so you would have
to tell someone to let you do it)
Tricks.
Time management:
For two extra success when using time manipulation you may make a bubble of
null time in which only you and people of your choice may act. You may place
2 people in the bubble including your self +1 for every extra raise. The
null time occurs on the next "unoccupied action" (the next action on which no
one else is going) During this time you may not effect those who are "frozen
in time" but you may plan and discus courses of action. The time freeze
lasts for ten minutes of real time during which players may discus what is
going on or reposition them selves on the battel field.
replay
with two extra success on a time manipulation roll you may take back the
action of any one who acted in the last turn (example: If it is turn 7 you
may make some one who acted on turn 6 redo their action (if i have the order
of turns backward revers it, i can't ember which way they go and i am to lazy
to go downstairs and get my books right now)) you can effect relier action
with raises on a one for one biases (if it is turn 7 and you wish to effect
someone who went on turn 4 that would you would need two raises to use the
trick + 2 raises to move back that far for a total of 4 raises plus the
initial success).
