okay - i see the math here. what confused me was i didn't see a reason why 
he couldn't have say 4 gadgets on a constant 1 hour a day maintenance 
schedule - but that would blow game balance to all hell so this is cool :)

Cool ! this means that if the players are being chased by a primer in an 
armageddon suit it isn't just a faceless "oh look, another armegeddon suit" 
encounter. by personlising the suit slightly we can give the players a named 
enemy - "oh hell, its the primer in the spiked suit - run guys !"

cool - though i think Bargainers could use more of a hand first though. 
theres so much material out in comic land (and film land) for gadgeteers 
they're not really a problem as far as direction goes (and i don't mind 
making up a few gedget rules on the fly), but bargainers just seem a 
little... out there ?

my pleasure, you've come out with a fantastic product - and its great to see 
Pinnacle continuing their support for games on the listservs. any idea when
