Re: [WW] Monsters,Creatures and Weird Science
This brings up an interesting question-how much do COs
expect to use monsters in WW? I'm a little familiar
with Deadlands, but I don't have a sense for how much
of a role monsters play in the game.
As a prospective WW GM and former Call of Cthulhu GM
I'm an advocate for the 'less is more' monster use
strategy. Like Spielberg in 'Jaws' I think the less
players encounter monsters, and inversely the more
they feel threatened by the monster without
encountering it, the more fear they will experience.
If you want a pulp-style game, however, go for the
monster gusto.
How do people expect to use monsters in their WW
games?
