I beg to differ.

During the Gulf Slap Down, there was at least one soldier brought up on 
UCMJ (military law) charges for violating the Geneva Convention.

It seems that they found his LAW (?) rocket buried in an Iraqi's soldier's 
chest.  The LAW rocket is designated as a weapon to be used against 
equipment only.

I'm not certain if he tried the "But I was shooting at his canteen" 
defense.  :)
