At least, this is wrong in France. I receive e-mails, no matter the content.
Th problem of a law about the ISP being responsible has evolved a bit.

So, transmittong information (like, an e-mail) is not the same as hosting
it, and you can send (or receive) emails speaking about Hitler or Nazis.
Practically, the sender is resqponsible for what he says, and I've never
heard about a internet service provider implementing a filtering engine, as
he might then be monitoring private life, and then accused for this.

Practically, if the ISP did not create the offending content (I stay wide,
because speaking about how Hitler loose the war is not offending), and if he
provides information (the IP address) about who produced it, he is not
responsible.


Now, I am going back to following what's going on on the list.
