Re: [WW] Howdy and ...

Thanks y'all for clearing up some/most of my questions.

I'll be attending for the first time(virgin Gen Con'er, oy) and am kind of overwhelmed, and I ain't even there yet.

I have been catching up on the list conversation in the archives. Here's my two bits on the inspirational material. For those who'll want more of a supernatural(not like most games won't be) twist to their games, try Mike Mignola's Hellboy from DarkHorse Comics. Nazi's, weird science, elder gods, ancient myths come to life, Golems, pyrokinesis people, werewolves, vampires, nazi's, giants, goblins, demon's, nazi's. Oh and did I mention the book uses nazi's from time to time? Awesome stories and they usually just leave you wanting more. There is also a novel by Christopher Golden called the Lost Army set in Iraq(IIRC).
Which made me think of a whole new can of worms. Africa. There's some supernatural stories just waiting to burst from that place. Egypt. heh... I can't wait to run a game!!!
