Re: [pyrnet] Pyr with Fleas

Everyone mentioned good points... The Capstar mentioned, you may even be able to just buy one at a local feed store or vet office... (if you are looking to get it quick)...

I own a mobile dog grooming biz, and using a flea comb will take forever... I highly suggest Comfortis, it starts killing fleas within 30 mins. Then wait a few day, then give a good bath/grooming.

But yes, the environment does need to be treated.... A very cheap and effective outdoor solution - DAWN dish soap (original), mix it in a Miracle Grow Sprayer that attaches to your hose. It will leave your yard sudsy, but works like a charm and it's CHEAP!

You will probably need to bomb the inside of the house as well.

Hope this helps!

Subject: [pyrnet] Pyr with Fleas

Hi all,

Have my boy for 7 years now, and this is the first time heâs got emâ You see, we brought home a rescue berneese mix that had em, which we didnât quite catch soon enoughâ

Iâve done a lot already to treat both, the house, car, and shopâ it looks like we may be starting to win the battle.. My question to you all is if you had any experience with working with the thick coats of the pyr to locate these little buggersâ What type of flea comb did you find worked best?

Thanks,

Brendan, Polar, and Molly
