Oh - so that is where I went wrong - you're suppose to put them out with the goats - and here I was hand raising the goats in the house - now Bad Boy Orso only watches over the couch!

I mean, the notion that?the Great Pyrenees Mountain dog develops the instinct to protect livestock because his/her hormones change since the dog is reared with the livestock at an early? age is fairly intuitive. I suppose I expected a little more elaboration or depth from NatGeo.

Sunday, Aug 8? at 9 o'clock on NATGEO tv they are doing a special on dogs and how wolves became dogs and the commercial mentioned how Pyrs becme protectors so I am assuming that means they are going to be including our Pyrs in the show. Just FYI.
