I thought it would discuss very early origins of the Pyr. I mean, the notion that?the Great Pyrenees Mountain dog develops the instinct to protect livestock because his/her hormones change since the dog is reared with the livestock at an early? age is fairly intuitive. I suppose I expected a little more elaboration or depth from NatGeo.

Still, I appreciate how the PYr merely chases off an intruder and then directly returns to his master.
