| Hi everyone, I am taking Bacchus to be groomed tomorrow. I am hoping that by getting a good grooming that takes out all that old dead hair underneath he will be more comfortable in the summer heat (he is not very accepting of me grooming him and I don't have extra sets of hands). I believe that someone previously mentioned that they have their Pyr's stomach/undersides clipped short and that they thought it helped the dogs keep cool - when lying on tile or in one of their lovely dirt holes. Any opinions on this? Good/bad, does it help or not? Thanks - Laurie |
