<< I am writing letters to the following companies and telling them
that I will not be using their products/companies as long as they support the
Philadelphia Eagles and Michael Vick. I urge you to do the same. >> Since you did not sign your email, I
cannot address you by name, but I have to respectfully disagree with this
boycott. While what Mr. Vick and his cohorts did for entertainment disgusts and
horrifies me to the depths of my soul, he was arrested, convicted and served
his time according to the laws of the land. Doesn’t he deserve the chance to display
that he has been shown the error of his ways and has been rehabilitated? Are you saying that he doesn’t
deserve a second chance? Should anyone get a second chance after they have
served a prison term? << As for Michael Vick, his demands
for a contract of $1.6 million illustrates he wasn't totally appreciative of
his "2nd chance" opportunity considering his ability to gain leverage
on the Eagles. >> What should he do here, play for free? I
don’t really see what that would do to better the situation. JMHO, Elaine, Pico and Laela |
