PLEASE CROSS-POST FAR & WIDE. I AM BORROWING INTERNET TIME FROM SOMEONE ELSE & DO NOT HAVE MY CONTACTS WITH ME. I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP IN SPREADING THE WORD.
Rescue acquisition NEEDED immediately.
INFORMATION BELOW
for IMMEDIATE REVIEW
Hi All:
There are currently TWENTY dogs in urgent status at Beebe AC, a rural, muncipal shelter north of Little Rock, AR. I am working with borrowed electronics on someone else's time table so it has taken me extra time to get the post up and going. These dogs will all need rapid rescue - as in super rapid - REALLY. 501c3 required and volunteer transport assistance is available. The dogs with a red tag label are the most urgent, needing a commitment no later than Sunday night - Father's Day, June 15, 2008. The remaining dogs have until Tuesday night, June 17, 2008 to acquire a commitment. Those of you familiar with the Beebe AC urgency posts know that 8 or more means urgent. There are 20 dogs needing help. It's in the 90s, most of the dogs are NOT in individual pens (due to capacity) and while we feel ALL the dogs are good dogs - not a bad one in the bunch, the heat and overcrowding makes any one of them subject to hair trigger, pack mentality. PLEASE e-mail me
if you can help at joy@ruraldogs.org - NOTE THAT I no longer have electronic gear and am subject to using someone else's so I do not have constant internet access. I will reply within a 12 hour period. Sorry about this but I'm doing the best I can. PLEASE CROSS-POST this one. We truly have a critical situation on our hands at this shelter.
Sponsor dollars are genuinely CRITICAL right now. If you can assist financially with the vetting needs of any of these dogs, I can begin the vetting process as early as Friday. The average cost of a spay/neuter package ranges from $140 to $150. I will also need funding for DHLPP as soon as possible as well as a decent wormer. I have FOUR VETTING SLOTS scheduled for this Friday. If I end up cancelling due to lack of response, it will slow down the entire process and potentially make it impossible to save these dogs....It is all about timing and circumstance now. PLEASE e-mail me immediately if you can help with the vetting funds.

EUTHANIZATION PENDING
MUST ACQUIRE A RESCUE COMMITMENT BY SUNDAY NIGHT, 15 JUNE 2008
This one is a WINNER! Estimated age 1 to 2 years old. Totally submissive, non-hyper, non-jumper. Gets along excellent with all dogs at the shelter and is wonderfully friendly with people. He has been at the shelter for over one month. The heat is getting to him. He needs OUT immediately.
Again, if you can help, please e-mail joy@ruraldogs.org immediately.
