I'll email you personally, if that's OK Shari.:-)

Mary,
Thanks so much for the info. I would love your recipe, when you have time
to give it. I have read that the natural balance vegetarian diet is also good
for this disease, so I will check that out. I also, am a vegetarian and from
what I have read, until recently dogs were closer to vegetarian in the past
than they are now, because of the consumption of prey stomach contents, as
well as grazing. Thanks for the support. i am so fortunate to have a husband
who doesn't object (even encourages) the time that I spend helping animals and
a caring, reasonably priced rural veteranarian. The research into this has
been extremely time consuming, but they say that learning new things helps
deter Alzheimer's--lol! Besides that, this research has made me even more
aware of the impact of toxins on all of us. It is frustrating (not to mention
abominable!) that so much useless animal research is being done when all one
needs to do is observe our pets and domestic animals. Have a great day!

My Quanah had an undiagnosed Neuromuscular disorder. (This some years
back) We tested for absolutely everything and there was no definitive
answer. My Vet was fantastic and concurred with specialists all over
the country.
We gave him Vit C, Vit E, Vit B, L'Carnitine, & CoQ10 in large
amounts. It was quite expensive, but it gave him a quality of life for
an additional year + of life.
I did home cooking with the help of some Organic Farmers in the
area. (Still do) That lightened up the $ factor. I used extra virgin
olive oil rather than canola oil. I have a really good home cooking recipe
for my Pups. I'd never hesitate to eat it myself - except I'm one of those
Vegetarians. :-(
Bless your
heart!
