Thanks, that is about what I expected. The vet I last saw claims a
normal heart rate for a dog is 120 per minute, but I won't be going to him again
for various reasons of which that is just one!

My Merc Veterinary Manual (I'm NOT a Vet.) says "60
per minute" for large breed
dogs.
