For toys, I go to the second hand
stores (Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc.) and buy my Rufus stuffed toys for about
50 cents. Just got a bag of them for $2. I try to find ones without
hard eyes (he chews them off) but if I can't I just take them off and sew up the
eyes. He doesn't seem to notice! He tears some up but always saves a
few, never chewing them up. Rufus is 10 months old now. But I've
never had a boy dog before I have noticed how much more aggressive he is.
He's a handful, but we love him. He was a rescue at 8 weeks old, half grt
pyr and half black lab.

proven to be a godsend. As well as this list has. I thought he was getting sick,
but, apparently, he's only so warm because of the furry friends he sleeps with.
(I bought him some Ty animal babies his size so he wouldn't miss his litter too
much.) The Doc says apart from being less than 5 wks, he's doing great. We
have stop picking him up so much as well. Doc says we will make him sore. I have
5 kids (all grown except 2 16 yr olds.) Everybody wants to hold him. Well, I
told them tonight they will have to make do lying on the floor beside him for
awhile.
