[pyrnet] Pyrs and Fences
Hi,
We have just enclosed about 5 acres of our property with sheep fencing and Cody, my 2 year old Pyr helped the whole time. Little did he know that he was supervising something that would close him in. :)
Whenever I was outside with him, I would spend half of my time looking to see where he went. Now with the fence in place, I can let him do his sniffing, barking, and searching without looking for him. The tables have been turned as he now looks for me. He has to make sure I'm within his sight because it would be just awful for him to be left alone outside! I really think this "guard dog" needs a guard dog. I think I've spoiled this little guy, but what would I do without waking up in the morning with him sleeping on his back in my bed, with his back feet in my face? Pyrs are a wonderful breed and you never know what to expect next.
