Try having Romy on a leash when you know he's going to be in a situation
when he's likely to jump, like someone coming to the door. That way, you
can enforce the "sit" if necessary with a gentle reminder on the leash.
We've had to do that with a couple of ours who have been over-exuberant at
the idea of more people to smooch.
