Thank you both for your kind comments regarding Beau.  His markings have faded some since we got him, which apparently isn't unusual.  They were very dark to begin with, so hopefully they will be able to withstand some fading and still be quite noticeable, since we have come to appreciate them as part of who he is.  Funny, when we were on our way to meet him and consider the adoption, we assumed (with our limited knowledge of the breed) he would be all white.  Now we have grown quite fond of his markings.

 What an absolutely beautifully marked puppy!!!!  Can't wait to see how he looks as he gets older.
