I doubt you're doing anything wrong....it's just a sign of respect....you're the alpha....they can't help it. Luckily Pyrs usually get over it, it's some Cockers you have to be careful with. :-D

The "submissive urination" is interesting. I hope it doesn't mean that I am doing anything wrong with Beau. He doesn't seem to do it to anyone else, although he does get excited when other members of the family return home. He just doesn't spring a leak. It is going to be difficult for me to not get excited when I get home from work and my little ball of fur comes running to greet me.
