Re: [pyrnet] chewing - genetic???

Well, after my observations of a friends dogs over the last week I would
have to say that it is certainly possible that behaviour traits can be
genetic to a certain extent. Let me explain.....

My friend has Hungarian Vizsla. One of her bitches, nicknamed 'the wild
child' is notorious for her antics. This girls personality is unique. One
of this bitches pups was recently returned. Pup had gone to its new home
around 8 weeks and is now just under 6 months. The similarities in
personality and behaviour are unmistakeable! This young pup, from its first
day back, was exhibiting many behaviours and 'quirks' which were purely
'chip off the old block' and would not have been learned in the previous
home.
