Poor Patrick!  I bet he'll never touch food on the counter again!  Or eat a 
little bit of pork in his bowl either.

Jascha has always had a weakness for bread and other bakery goodies.  Now that 
he is so old, blind and arthritic, I sometimes leave a tempting item on the 
counter (nearer to the edge than ever before)just to see if he can still get 
it.  If he does, I know all is well for a while longer.
