I won't to thank everyone again for all the responses.
Just an update.
One person recommended having someone video tape me and then have the tape assessed for my physical demeanor, presence etc. So I called my friend Kay, I just recently moved from St. Louis and while there was a member of the Aussie club (my leo did agility with the group) anyway her Aussie is ranked number 5 in the country and we had taped each other over the years in practice for everything- so I wanted her opinion on my physical presence, non verbal clues I give out- she found it quite funny- apparently my physical "aura" is what she calls overly alpha, she had remarked in the past that her two boys weirded out when I was around, apparently just the way I walk in a room and sit is dominant.

As far as how Raider is doing, the past 10 days seems to have brought about a little harmony, apparently a ground hog moved in under the play house and he and my mastiff seem to have bonded in their attempts to get under the house and unroot the little guy. My mastiff is a bit dopey and the beagle has always been able to get him to dig trenches for her to get out of the yard, apparently Raider the pyr has put this talent to good use and has been directing him all around the house to dig in various spots, it is actually quite humorous to watch the two of them. Anyway so far so good.
