[pyrnet] Chat: reasoning ?

~~~Hi All,
The people that don't know the breed, Great Pyrenees,( very un-lucky people),are usually under the immpression that these slow moving, mind of their own dogs are really "dumb and stubborne"~~~Well, We know better~~
Last evening, I had the occassion to visit with some friends that also have Great Pyrenees, ( 3 to be exact )~~~I was in their computer office admiring the new carpet, ( the computer office is quite a distance from the back door) ~~
I then heard 1 of the walls next to Me being scratched by dog toenails, looked up, and there was the Big Male scratching and looking at Me~~~it was then explained to Me that, because the dog knew that He couldn't be heard at the back door asking to be let outside, He had taught Himself to come to the computer office, scratch on the wall there, and His people would let Him outside ! Of course, the 2 females were standing there right beside Him, but, they let Him do all the work !! <G>
Now, someone try to convince Me that these dogs don't think and reason !!
