[pyrnet] Worms and Revolution
Interceptor works for HW, hooks,
whips and rounds. Why not
switch? Hooks and whips lay dormant in the soil for many years.
Dogs can easily become re-infected. Advantage works well for
fleas. I don't know much about Revolution. Just that my Vet won't
carry it, as he does not feel it a good product. This is based on
his personal experience with the product.
Well, I know I certainly have
Sorry for both you and Newman,
Rhonda..
This one reason the people in the know on this list are so adamant
about
checking out the breeders carefully. Newman is a lucky dog to have
found
you, you are taking good care of him.
Thank you for that from the PyrPile and their Mom
My vet doesn't like it either, says it doesn't do what it should, let
alone
what it says it will.
Tea
Who really would have liked the convenience
<sigh>
Yeah, as I've said before, I wasn't impressed with the people we bought
him from. I hate to see a dog having so many problems. Madison, our
Spitz, was also from what one would term a "backyard breeder",
but those people cared very much about their dogs and you could tell it
from the condition the pups were in. Madison was NEVER sick her whole
life, until she picked up a stray tick and acquired some variety of
tick-borne disease (not Lyme), which gave her severe arthritis. She
finally passed away at about 15. She never had worms I don't think, her
whole life, unless she had them before we got her.
I put Newman on the Revolution because it was supposed to protect against
roundworms, hookworms, heartworms, ear mites and fleas and ticks. I
thought "Gee, it's so great to get all that in one
application!" It's about $22 a month. How much is the
Interceptor, and what do you use, then, for fleas and ticks?
