[pyrnet] HEALTH, CARE: Tick season ALREADY???

Well folks, it certainly didn't take long for the tick season to arrive
here in the sunny South.  This morning, while David was playing with
Shania, our Tibetan Mastiff, he found a tick on her stomach!  I don't ever
remember finding one this early in the spring -- heck, it's not even spring
yet.  Guess with the mild weather we had all winter (only had one very
small snow fall, and except for the bitterly cold weather last week, most
of the winter lows have hardly been to freezing) the pesty things didn't
get frozen out.  Oh, well, guess it's back to the tick/flea preventive.
