I know we've had this conversation so many times before on this list, but
there's no good reason *not* to neuter any dog that doesn't have those
genes that must be passed on, and so-o-o-o many reasons to go ahead and do
it. I'm afraid if I had a partner who balked at this, I'd simply take the
dog in some time when said partner wasn't home. Too risky re unwanted
puppies, health issues etc. not to take such action. You could always
suggest having "neuticles" implanted, I guess! It was the only way one of
our earlier vets talked her brother into having his dog neutered!
