[pyrnet] Vet trip

Just got back from the vets. It's not mange, thank goodness. However, 
no one knows--could be an allergy that led to some impetigo like 
spots and hair loss. Got some cephalexin and oatmeal shampoo. Going 
to try some aloe vera as a topical skin mopisturizer (unless someone 
has a better idea for dry skin where he is bald.

I talked to the vet about "Siri Pupperino"  and some of the suggested 
theories that *maybe* he suffers from hypothyroidism. She says, it is 
possible, but that hyp is over-diagnosed. Usually there is weight 
gain along with the poor quality coat and lethargy. I can have him in 
for bloodwork to test for hypo to rule that out, but I prefer to try 
the less expensive rule outs first. (lack $$ on average).

She suggested trying some fish oil caps and some chondroitin (?) 
chewables for his hip/joint problems. So, $200 poorer, we're going to 
to try some of these treatments.
