And for some reason, the majority of men seem to connect
their manliness to their dogs testes, or to a sportscar or to something
else. There are of course exceptions to this rule, but the majority of men
who have not dealt with dogs or Rescue over a period of time seem to take
this attitude.>>
Well, in defense of men, that has certainly not been my experience. Of
course, altering comes up in the first conversation about puppies, so I
suppose that the squeamish just don't follow up. But I have had virtually
no resistance that I know about from men buying pets or even from
ranchers/farmers buying working dogs. I have been pleasantly surprised to
find that I even get little "argument" when I tell them that this surgery
will be done before they pick up their new companion at 10 weeks.
I am fascinated by the men's brief idea. Certainly sounds worth trying to
me. If it doesn't work you just have a number of dog peed shorts to wash or
throw out or whatever.
