Ear mites, what fun.  I just had to treat 5 cats for that.  But I enlisted
my children to help.  I held the front paws with one hand, my son held the
back paws.  I would use my other hand to put the medicine in the ears, while
also using that hand to hold their head still. My daughter would had me the
medicine when I was ready and grab the bottle when I was done.

Gee I don't know why, but none of my cats liked me after that.  They got
smart after the 2nd time and started hiding on me.
