I agree, just use a very good adult premium food.  Most of this large dog
puppy stuff is marketing anyway (JMHO).  At least in Pyrs.   Sort of like
asking the Fox, "Who should be in charge of the hen house.">>

Oh boy!! and how.  Joe and I have been in this business long enough to have
watched the history of the ever expanding dog food versions.  And everytime
something new pops up, the maker implies that their previous version was
unsatisfactory.  I think that not only is the large puppy stuff marketing,
but so is probably 80% of the rest of it.  But the companies' bottom lines
do very well thank you.  I'm with Joe, pick a good quality (not necessarily
the gold plated variety) adult food that works for your dogs; start feeding
it as soon as the pups are weaned and keep feeding it until they die, unless
the vet diagnoses a *specific* medical condtion that would require a scrip
food.   Dog food will *never* substitute for good genetics.
