Puppy Love Rhonda, you might want to go into the archives and have a look at the posts for either July or August of this year. One of them tells the story of my friends Pyr who had to be euthanized due to serious health issues related to his prostate. Completely avoidable had he been neutered. wonder if hubby will change his mind when Newman starts 'marking' every piece of furniture and wall in the house? And mark my words, he will do this. If not sooner, then most definitely when the Saint goes in to season. Barb Bowes Bo & Chelsea (Pyrs), Flopsy (Pyr Shep) & Machin (Doxie) The more people I meet, the more I like my dog! bamb@monmouth.com ----------------------------
Rhonda,
There's also the fact that 7 times out of 10, dog bites can be traced back to un-neutered male dogs, ( Did I understand that you have children ?)
When Hubby and I got An"D", Hubby decided to "show" Him~~
Now I've been around dogs since the "dark ages" <BG> , but, all of them were neutered/spayed ~~When An"D" decided that He was a "Man"~~started giving Me "grief"~~(not mean, mind you, but, I didn't like the "looks that I was getting from Him, I didn't like the" body posture, I didn't like His newly aquired "attitude"~)
Well, I decided, "We are NOT gonna' do this !! Soooooo, SNIP, SNIP~~An"D" 's show career was over !! <BG> I got the dog back that I had originally raised from a puppy !
